This historic meeting of Canadian Anglicans concerned for the recovery of orthodoxy within their church will gather in unprecedented numbers at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto to speak to the world with a powerful and united voice. Essentials 2001 was the successor to the ground-breaking Essentials '94 Conference held in Montreal which produced the Montreal Declaration of Anglican Essentials and the Anglican Essentials Coalition, involving Anglican Renewal Ministries of Canada, Barnabas Anglican Ministries of Canada (Evangelical), and the Prayer Book Society of Canada.
