• Sun. Oct. 29th (grades 5-12) Halloween Party!!!!
  Wear a costume and prepare to eat orange cupcakes, carve pumpkins and play Halloween games! Please bring snacks to share!

• Sat. Nov. 4th (gr. 5-12) 10am-2pm Youth Café at St. John’s Bazaar
  Bake muffins the night before to raise money for the church and our Youth Retreat! We’ll be selling cups of Fair Trade coffee & our home-baked muffins to the shoppers.
  
  
• Sun. Nov. 5th (gr. 5-12) 1:30-2:30pm Candlemaking in the Auditorium !!! Learn how to make colourful hand-dipped candles, 2:30-3:30pm Wildwood Ranch Information Session (Youth Retreat Location) for youth attending the retreat (and their parents), or Games in the Auditorium for all others.
  
• Fri. Nov. 10th - Sun. Nov. 12th (gr. 5-12) Youth Retreat to Wildwood Manor Ranch
  Prepare for a weekend of fun and fellowship that includes horseback riding, hands-on animal care, hiking, a bonfire, a hayride, and an exploration of how faith can help us make a difference in our world. Location: Wildwood Manor Ranch, Georgetown, ON The cost of the weekend is $120. Visit Wildwood's website at: www.wildwoodranch.com

• Sun. Nov. 19th (gr. 5-12) 2:00-4:00 Volunteer at the C.N.I.B. (Canadian Institute for the Blind)
  Meet at St. John’s York Mills Church at 1:30pm and drive to the C.N.I.B. Arrive back at the church at 4:15pm. Visit their website at: http://www.cnib.ca/eng/index.htm

• Sun. Nov. 26th (gr. 5-12) 7:00pm Taizé service at Redeemer Anglican Church
  Meet at St. John’s at 6:00pm Travel together downtown for this meditative evening service. Bring $5 for a hot chocolate after the service. More information about Taizé is available at: http://www.theredeemer.ca/pages/taize-roadmap.html

Young Adult Group for ages 18-30

Are you between 18-30 years old? Come to St. John's York Mills this Christmas to meet new people, refresh old friendships, and share memories.   This group will meet approx. four times per year - mainly during holidays when university students are home visiting. Next meeting:

• Dec. 24th, 9:30pm: Christmas Eve Social before the 11:00 Service
